Best and Worst of November 2017


Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor and, also, another blog-episode of the Best and Worst bit. So, the past month was a bit low in movies for me but I managed to make a list and here it is. OK, for a middle movie I have only one and it is "Cars 2". For the worst, some "honorable" mentions, "Amityville: Awakening" and "Leatherface". The worst for me was, of course, "The Emoji Movie", a pointless and stupid movie that should have never been have made. For the best list, some honorable mentions we have "Happy Death Day", with a surprising and interesting mix, "Cars" and "Cars 3". The best, for me, was "Justice League", which I consider it superior to other entries in the DCEU, like "Batman v Superman" and "Suicide Squad". 

OK guys, that was my list for the past month. For the next list, which, obviously, will be next year, I'm hoping to have a bit more movies but I don't know. I said I will do the whole "Star Wars" series but I just don't have the time to do all of those movies so I am going to review, only, "The Last Jedi" and maybe some Christmas theme movies that I haven't reviewed last year, if there are any. Wind River (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! For today, I have prepared three new reviews for three movies, one was good and the other two not so much. So let's start with the good one and I mean this one, of course. If you have seen "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water" and you enjoy watching those movies you will certainly enjoy this one as well. And it is based on real events so it has that reality based element, which is going to make you appreciate this movie even more. It's smartly written, beautifully executed, with the environment playing a big part in inducing the viewer into the chilling atmosphere of the story. It's dramatic, filled with emotions, suspense and thrills and it will keep you invested from beginning to end. It has a fast pace and, although it has it slower moments, it does not get boring. On the contrary, it becomes more interesting. Love the cast, great cast and, of course, great performances ...

Mission Impossible 3 (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Well, this is what I am talking about, if you want to make a great action movie but still keep the style and panache of the original. J.J. Abrams did it. He combined, successfully I might add, the stunts and special effects with the style that made the first MI so good. It does suffer in some departments, especially the script and character development but that is just nitpicking at this point. The visual effects are awesome, the action is great and fast paced giving you the right amount of time to breathe before it chuckles you again into the action. The acting is top notch with a very good villainy performance from P.S. Hoffman. There are some twists but, sadly, are predictable and a bit similar to the one from the first movie.  However, looking past the little flaws, there is no denying that this movie was a step up, a huge step up from the previous one, setting the bar for wha...

Escape Room (2019) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Reviews #100%, the place where you can be nerdy about movies! So, just to be clear, this is not the ''A Star Is Born'' review as I promised and it is unlikely that I will still make that review. Instead of that, I have a review about a movie with an escape room, which, I guess, is more entertaining than a dramatic musical. Don't get me wrong, ''A Star Is Born'' is a very good movie, very emotional, dramatic and gripping, with some very good performances and beautiful songs.
