Reviews Announcement


Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Reviews! This will be a quick one and it's not a movie review. In my last post I said that I will review the "Percy Jackson" movies but I put that on hold because I was a bit busy. Instead, I will see "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" tonight and that review will be up tomorrow. And, since next week-end "Alien Covenant" is coming, I will review the "Alien" quadrilogy plus the "Prometheus" movie ending with the "Alien Covenant" review next Sunday, I hope. Next week I will be at the "Romanian Movie Evenings" festival so I will try my best to post these reviews. Until then, take care and keep on reviewing!

Wind River (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! For today, I have prepared three new reviews for three movies, one was good and the other two not so much. So let's start with the good one and I mean this one, of course. If you have seen "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water" and you enjoy watching those movies you will certainly enjoy this one as well. And it is based on real events so it has that reality based element, which is going to make you appreciate this movie even more. It's smartly written, beautifully executed, with the environment playing a big part in inducing the viewer into the chilling atmosphere of the story. It's dramatic, filled with emotions, suspense and thrills and it will keep you invested from beginning to end. It has a fast pace and, although it has it slower moments, it does not get boring. Escape Room (2019) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Reviews #100%, the place where you can be nerdy about movies! So, just to be clear, this is not the ''A Star Is Born'' review as I promised and it is unlikely that I will still make that review. Instead of that, I have a review about a movie with an escape room, which, I guess, is more entertaining than a dramatic musical. Don't get me wrong, ''A Star Is Born'' is a very good movie, very emotional, dramatic and gripping, with some very good performances and beautiful songs. But we are here to talk about ''Escape Room''. Ever thought what would come out if you mix the style of the ''Saw'' franchise with the plot of an escape room? Mission Impossible 3 (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Well, this is what I am talking about, if you want to make a great action movie but still keep the style and panache of the original. J.J. Abrams did it. He combined, successfully I might add, the stunts and special effects with the style that made the first MI so good. It does suffer in some departments, especially the script and character development but that is just nitpicking at this point. The visual effects are awesome, the action is great and fast paced giving you the right amount of time to breathe before it chuckles you again into the action. The acting is top notch with a very good villainy performance from P.S. Hoffman.
