Flatliners (1990) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, because there is another "Flatliners" movie that came out and it's apparently a sequel to this one, which I haven't seen it until now, I thought I would do a review of it. It was directed by Joel Schumacher, before he ruined Batman and I can see similarities, in the visual department, with the two Batman movies that he directed. It's not a compliment, because the visual aesthetic and the cinematography is just awful. Full of pillars and statues, too many statues for my taste, bad lighting, on multiple occasions and the whole imagery is an example of how not to do it. The main idea of the movie, however, is amazing and thought provoking but the execution is not that amazing. Also, the script is mainly bad, a few things don't make sense and it borderlines between logical and illogical.
