Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) Review


Well, what can I say about the third and final entry of the "Maze Runner" franchise? For the ones that who are not fans of the first two and even the books, this movie will feel very bloated, long and boring. For the fans, however, this movie offers an emotional closure of the story and its characters, completing the arc for every each one. What can I tell you is that is better than the second one and almost as good as the first. It's still action packed, the most action packed in the series, it starts fast and continues that way until the end, with some slow scenes along the way. The movie is still to long for what it is but, at least, we have more action to keep us invested. Performances are off the charts great in this one because it has an emotional feel, more like the others did. For me, as a fan of the series and the books, it was a good and rewarding ending of the story. 7/10

So let's start with the good one and I mean this one, of course. If you have seen "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water" and you enjoy watching those movies you will certainly enjoy this one as well. And it is based on real events so it has that reality based element, which is going to make you appreciate this movie even more. It's smartly written, beautifully executed, with the environment playing a big part in inducing the viewer into the chilling atmosphere of the story. It's dramatic, filled with emotions, suspense and thrills and it will keep you invested from beginning to end. It has a fast pace and, although it has it slower moments, it does not get boring. Mission Impossible 3 (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Well, this is what I am talking about, if you want to make a great action movie but still keep the style and panache of the original. J.J. Abrams did it. He combined, successfully I might add, the stunts and special effects with the style that made the first MI so good. It does suffer in some departments, especially the script and character development but that is just nitpicking at this point. The visual effects are awesome, the action is great and fast paced giving you the right amount of time to breathe before it chuckles you again into the action. The acting is top notch with a very good villainy performance from P.S. Hoffman.
