The Room (2003) Review

Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, as promised I have the review, my review, for the best worst movie ever made which it became a cult classic, made a lot of money thru the years and thousands of followers. Also, it made Tommy Wiseau famous but I don't think that this type of fame he had in mind. Let's talks about the movie which, granted, is as bad illogical as you'd expect but, the thing is that you can have really have fun with this movie although it's considered a drama. You can forget about directing, acting, producing, writing and almost that involves the making of a good movie because there is nothing of that in this. All of what I said above it's completely irrelevant and useless in this movie. The directing is awful, with a story that is very simple but also very convoluted in it's simplicity; the acting is very bad, especially from it's star, Tommy Wiseau, that offers no emotion or offers to much emotion. There is no balance in his performance and, also, the overacting with the famous scene of "You are tearing me apart Lisa". The others are slightly better, mainly Greg Sestero. The script is freaking disastrous, with scenes that don't connect with other scenes, characters that come and go as pleased, with no exposition of any kind and plot threads that are mentioned only once and then they're gone. Yeah, I am looking at you, the breast cancer scene! The editing is awful, that stupid green screen looks fake as shit. The movie is bad, no doubt about that but that is why is so popular and you can have fun of how bad and ridiculous it is. I can safely say that, and I cannot believe that I am saying this, it is a good viewing after all and a nice movie experience. 4/10
