Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) Review


The second one is no different than the first, in terms of plot development, character exposition and originality. Instead, it has more action than the first so that means more silliness. It's a good sequel but not as good as the first one, and that's saying something. If it wasn't for the awesome presence of Milla Jovovich, this franchise would have gone by now. So all the credit goes to here. Not much else to say. The action is awesome by the way. Top marks there. 6.2/10

So let's start with the good one and I mean this one, of course. If you have seen "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water" and you enjoy watching those movies you will certainly enjoy this one as well. And it is based on real events so it has that reality based element, which is going to make you appreciate this movie even more. It's smartly written, beautifully executed, with the environment playing a big part in inducing the viewer into the chilling atmosphere of the story. It's dramatic, filled with emotions, suspense and thrills and it will keep you invested from beginning to end. It has a fast pace and, although it has it slower moments, it does not get boring. Mission Impossible 3 (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Well, this is what I am talking about, if you want to make a great action movie but still keep the style and panache of the original. J.J. Abrams did it. He combined, successfully I might add, the stunts and special effects with the style that made the first MI so good. It does suffer in some departments, especially the script and character development but that is just nitpicking at this point. The visual effects are awesome, the action is great and fast paced giving you the right amount of time to breathe before it chuckles you again into the action. The acting is top notch with a very good villainy performance from P.S. Hoffman.
