Cult of Chucky (2017) Review


Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, the 7th movie in the Chucky franchise, in my opinion, is the best. It surprised me in a big way and in the most good way possible. The cleverness of the plot is uncanny for these type of movies and that is why I was so pleasantly surprised by this movie. It's creepy, very strange, a bit confusing at the beginning but that is the beauty of this movie. It's very effective in it's creepiness and it stands out from the rest with ease. It is the best Chucky movie since the 4th one. Very intriguing, with an intelligent premise for the genre, a good cast and some nice twists and surprises. Plus, it's inventive in its kills so it's nice to see some new methods of killing in this franchise. Overall, I enjoyed this movie and I appreciate the turn that this franchise took. 7/10

Wind River (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! For today, I have prepared three new reviews for three movies, one was good and the other two not so much. So let's start with the good one and I mean this one, of course. If you have seen "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water" and you enjoy watching those movies you will certainly enjoy this one as well. And it is based on real events so it has that reality based element, which is going to make you appreciate this movie even more. It's smartly written, beautifully executed, with the environment playing a big part in inducing the viewer into the chilling atmosphere of the story. It's dramatic, filled with emotions, suspense and thrills and it will keep you invested from beginning to end. It has a fast pace and, although it has it slower moments, it does not get boring. Mission Impossible 3 (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Well, this is what I am talking about, if you want to make a great action movie but still keep the style and panache of the original. J.J. Abrams did it. He combined, successfully I might add, the stunts and special effects with the style that made the first MI so good. It does suffer in some departments, especially the script and character development but that is just nitpicking at this point. The visual effects are awesome, the action is great and fast paced giving you the right amount of time to breathe before it chuckles you again into the action. The acting is top notch with a very good villainy performance from P.S. Hoffman.
