The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) Review

Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Reviews! Fortunately, I will be able to post the reviews for the remaining "Fast and Furious" movies this week. So, we continue with the third installment of the franchise, that it considered the worst in the series. But, seeing it again last night changed my mind a little bit. The movie is bad but not as bad you think. If you are a fan of the franchise, like I am, and you like cars you will appreciate this movie for what it is. And what it is, is not so much. The story is limp and the acting is below average. Lucas Black does not look like a high school student. He was 24 at that time. Some of you will say that Andrew Garfield was almost 30 when he played Peter Parker in the "The Amazing Spider-Man" but at least he kinda looked like a high school student. And the dialogue is atrocious. Along with the script. And the biggest problem is that the action in this movie takes place after the happenings from the next three movies, 4,5 and 6. So the timeline is so screwed. But the movie does have some pluses. It looks good and the racing sequences are awesome, blending that boring ass story, with a secondary plot that doesn't belong and those drifting scenes makes for a good follow-up to the equally mediocre first movies. 6/10
