Holiday Message

Hi guys! No reviews today because it's Christmas Eve and I've got a lot to do and prepare. So I thought I would give my holiday message instead. I wish you all to have a marvelous, joyful and happy Christmas with loved ones, family and friends and to be more giving in these special days. I will return with some reviews possibly the beginning of next week. Until then have a wonderful and Merry Christmas!

The Emoji Movie (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, let's talk a bit about this new mistake that Sony Pictures made in the movie industry. The whole movie is a mash-up of all of the things that made "The Lego Movie", "Inside Out" and "Wreck-it Ralph" great but, in this case, those things make this one a piece of shit. The script is lazy and derivative, the humor lacks any quality whatsoever and the whole plot of the movie is unoriginal, with to many similarities with the 3 movies I've mentioned before. The voice performances are great, the actors are doing the best they can with what they got but all of the jokes fall flat almost all of the time. It maybe good for the smallest of children but for anyone else it is a big mistake and the worst thing I have ever seen. Not even the animation is that great. It is a movie that should not have been made. And all my respect to Sir Patrick Stewart on taking the voic...

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Reviews! Today I'm reviewing the the first avenger. So, this is the lesser of the Captain America movies, but when I say lesser I don't mean bad. This is not a bad movie. Is actually pretty great. You got very good action, a retro and old school vibe, stellar cast, great performances, awesome villain and some good humor as well. It's directed by Joe Johnston, who also gave us "Jumanji" and "The Wolfman" from 2010. And, unfortunately, "Jurassic Park III" as well. And the only decent movie from those three is "Jumanji". But with this one he does a nice job. Who would have thought that an old-fashioned Marvel movie could be so entertaining. Of course, there are some bits that don't work. Die Hard (1988) Review This year, Santa's got a brand new gun. I'm just kidding, Santa does not have a gun but John McClane does. What will Christmas be without the ultimate holiday action movie? Not the same I can tell you. So many movies and sequels tried to copy or upstage this action classic but all of them failed in doing so. You cannot match the pure action, thrills and chills that only this movie can give you. Bruce Willis launched his career with this one and became an action hero, Alan Rickman (R.I.P.) gave us a excellent performance and a great villain and we got the famous line "Yippee ki yay motherfucker". Great action, great performances, great directing, great writing and a great movie. What more can you say? This is the best Christmas movie ever! Hands down! 9.5/10
