New Year Message


So guys this is the last day on 2016. A good year, from my part but I hope 2017 will be a better year for all of us. Be healthier, smarter, kinder and more wiser. Have a blast on this New Year's Eve, I know I will, and more reviews coming in 2017. Not tomorrow, or on Monday but from the 2nd of January. I hope. Enjoy this night and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!!!

The Emoji Movie (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, let's talk a bit about this new mistake that Sony Pictures made in the movie industry. The whole movie is a mash-up of all of the things that made "The Lego Movie", "Inside Out" and "Wreck-it Ralph" great but, in this case, those things make this one a piece of shit. The script is lazy and derivative, the humor lacks any quality whatsoever and the whole plot of the movie is unoriginal, with to many similarities with the 3 movies I've mentioned before. The voice performances are great, the actors are doing the best they can with what they got but all of the jokes fall flat almost all of the time. It maybe good for the smallest of children but for anyone else it is a big mistake and the worst thing I have ever seen. Not even the animation is that great. It is a movie that should not have been made. And all my respect to Sir Patrick Stewart on taking the voic...

A Christmas Story (1983) Review They don't make them like this anymore. This movie is what Christmas suppose to be: wanting a special gift, kids, snow, Christmas trees, family and sticking you'r tong on a steel pole. It's a good, warm, darkly funny and family friendly Christmas movie. It has that nostalgia feel to it. The story is great, the narration gives a unique "taste", the characters are relatable, the humor is dark and funny and the whole movie makes you feel that Christmas spirit, inducing you with yuletide cheer. It's not aiming to be commercial or religious, just a traditional holiday story. It is a classic and you should see it every Christmas, alongside two other brilliant Christmas stories "It's A Wonderful life" and "A Christmas Carol". 9/10

Ghost in the Shell (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Reviews! So, like I said, today I'm reviewing the remake of the original anime (the review for that is already posted). First of all, the movie looks excellent. The special and visual effects department did an awesome job. Director Rupert Sanders keeps it faithful to the source material and you can see the similarities between them. Another note on the visual effects, they make the movie look like the original anime. Of course, you can the similarities with other movies, mainly "Blade Runner" with the visual style, "The Matrix" with the action sequences, although I talked about the original anime being an inspiration to the Wachowski's in creating Matrix and "RoboCop" with the all cyborg story.
