Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to another round, the final one for this year, of Movie Talks with Tudor! So, because I have a lot of preparations to do for tomorrow because it New Year's Eve, I decided to give my review of this update of "Jumanji" today. What a fun and hilarious movie experience this has been. Because I am a fan of the original one, I had my doubts about this sequel, because it is a sequel and not a remake. And man, how my doubts disappeared immediately as the movie began. The idea is clever, putting the game in the video world, to be more appealing to the audience of today and making it kinda like a virtual reality thing. The movie is very funny, I mean it's freaking hilarious, with jokes that land almost all the time and it's good quality humor. The cast is great, full of charm plus the avatars acting like the real characters is what made this film very good. They look different but, inside, they ar

Jumanji (1995) Review Well, because "Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle" has come out and I will see it tonight, I just saw again the original one and I am also as fan of the original one. It has it's problems, no doubt about that, with the script, the effects look very dated right now, the story has some issues as well, the decisions of the characters, occasionally don't make sense but, with all of those problems, the movie is still enjoyable and you can watch it with your whole family. Robbin Williams is very good, the jokes fall flat unfortunately and there not that original or inspired but I can get past that. I like it as a child and I still like it today. Let's hope the sequel, which I hear good things about, is going to continue that tradition. 7/10 OK guys, those are the reviews for now. Next up, the "Jumanji" sequel and I think that is it. Geostorm (2017) Review Well, what a disaster of a movie, pun intended. What they aimed with this movie was a spectacle and the last chance that this genre had to offer but, sadly, it all fell apart. Nothing about this movie is good. Crappy special effects, a stupid and nonsensical plot, with all types of holes and things that don't make sense, lacking of any emotion or drama, originality is nowhere to be found, you can see elements of other better disaster movies like "Armagheddon", "2012", "The Day After Tomorrow" plus they also took some elements from better space movie like "Gravity". The movie is also predictable, unfunny, the humor does not work at all, full of cliches of the genre and, overall, a bad movie. No thrills, no suspense, no nothing, which is weird from a disaster movie. Not even Gerard Butler can save this train wreck of a disaster. Overdrive (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! The reviews that I am going to do today and, maybe, tomorrow are going to be the last of this year. So, for today, I have not one, not two but three reviews. Let's get started with this one and I am possibly one of the few people that actually enjoyed this movie. Don't get me wrong, this is not a good movie. It lacks originality, a good script and a plot. And, when I say it lacks originality, I mean it's a mashup of other movies about cars. You can see similarities with "Gone in 60 seconds", "Taken", "Taxi", "The Transporter" even and, the most obvious, the "Fast and Furious" series. I know that some of the people that worked on "Fast and Furious" and "Taken" made this movie but, maybe, offer a fresh take on this subject instead of using everything that you used before in other movies. Best and Worst of November 2017 Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor and, also, another blog-episode of the Best and Worst bit. So, the past month was a bit low in movies for me but I managed to make a list and here it is. OK, for a middle movie I have only one and it is "Cars 2". For the worst, some "honorable" mentions, "Amityville: Awakening" and "Leatherface". The worst for me was, of course, "The Emoji Movie", a pointless and stupid movie that should have never been have made. For the best list, some honorable mentions we have "Happy Death Day", with a surprising and interesting mix, "Cars" and "Cars 3". The best, for me, was "Justice League", which I consider it superior to other entries in the DCEU, like "Batman v Superman" and "Suicide Squad".  OK guys, that was my list for the past month. American Assassin (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! I know, it's been a while since my last review but it's a very busy time for me now and not so much free time on my hands. And I also said that I will review the movie "The Beguiled" but I can sum that movie up in a few words: seen it, didn't like it but great performances. This one, on the other hand, I quite enjoyed it for what it is and what it is it's a spy movie that tries very hard to be a spy thriller. Unfortunately, it does not achieve that status because of the plot, which well known, offering nothing new or anything special to put it aside other spy thrillers. The characters aren't well developed, their relationships and backgrouonds are poorly written and, most of them, are one dimensional and stereotypical for these types of movie. So, I have the review for the long awaited "Justice League" movie and there are some questions to be answered: was it good?, was it bad?, does it continue the good streak that "Wonder Woman" for this universe? The Emoji Movie (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, let's talk a bit about this new mistake that Sony Pictures made in the movie industry. The whole movie is a mash-up of all of the things that made "The Lego Movie", "Inside Out" and "Wreck-it Ralph" great but, in this case, those things make this one a piece of shit. The script is lazy and derivative, the humor lacks any quality whatsoever and the whole plot of the movie is unoriginal, with to many similarities with the 3 movies I've mentioned before. The voice performances are great, the actors are doing the best they can with what they got but all of the jokes fall flat almost all of the time. Cars 3 (2017) Review So, those the third movie in this franchise washes the bad taste that "Cars 2" left us with? Not entirely but it's definitely on the right track. If the first one was "Rocky", the third one has bits of "Rocky V", "Rocky Balboa" and "Creed". I enjoyed the story, although, again familiar but it has a kinda dark and serious feel to it. It has emotion, it has heart, tension and suspense, like the first movie. And that is my problem with this one. It is to similar with the first one. Of course, there are some differences, but at the core, it's kinda the same. Judging by the bad reviews that the second movie got, they decided to go back and redo the first movie, with some slight adjustments. I mean, besides the middle part, the beginning and the end are very similar with the first movie. That being said, I enjoyed it. Cars 2 (2011) Review So, with the second movie we got a different story, that introduced a spy world, which we haven't heard about or are going to hear about. The racing part has been put in the second place, meaning the Lighting McQueen is not the main character of this story but Mater is, which makes me dislike this movie a bit more. I found him a bit annoying in the first one but to put him front and center in the second one is like making Jar Jar Binks the main focus of the prequels. The visuals are still stunning but the plot, the script and the story are not that shinny, with some plot holes and inconsistencies that make it feel lazy and poorly written. That is the problem with the sequels. They try to top the original, coming up with a new story but they try to hard. And, most of the time, it does not work, like in this case. Cars (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today I am going to give my thoughts about the "Cars" trilogy beginning, of course, with the first one, which, in my opinion, is the "Rocky" of the Pixar universe. I'm saying that because the story feels very familiar, with the rookie going up against more experienced drivers. In the beginning, it's hard to sympathize with the main character but, throughout the movie you can see the changes that the character suffers and, towards the end, he is completely changed, he is a new person. Or car, in this universe. I enjoy these type of stories, stories that I like to call the chrysalides effect, when a character suffers a complete transformation, just like the caterpillar turns into a butterfly. The animation is very good, it's visually amazing plus it also has lots of heart, emotions, suspense and tension. Some good humor, here and there. I'm not so fond about the character of

Happy Death Day (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! First of all, what I want to say about this movie is that broke the conventions and the boundaries of a slasher horror movie. The main idea of the movie and strange spin that it has it's just brilliant. Hilarious and weird but brilliant. What they did is they took all of the ingredients of the slasher genre and combined them with the premise of "Groundhog Day". Or, if you want something more recent, "Edge of Tomorrow". They took a risk with this but it paid of in the end. One of the best, inventive and clever horror movie of this year and, possibly, of the last years. One thing that bothered me was that it had many similarities with other slasher movies like "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and even "Friday the 13th". Best and Worst of October Hello guys and welcome to another blog episode of the Best and Worst. Today, we have the month of Halloween, with some few bests but mostly worsts. Let's get the worst out of the way, with some honorable mentions: "Death Note", a poor attempt on americanizing the Japanese property, "Child's Play 2" and "Child's Play 3", "Bride of Chucky", "Seed of Chucky", and several "Saw" movies like "Saw 3", "Saw 4", "Saw 5" and "Saw 7/ Saw 3D". The worst of October was "Wish Upon". Now for the best we have "Gerald's Game", "Blade Runner" and "Blade Runner 2049", "Cult of Chucky", which is weird but the movie is surprisingly good, "Atomic Blonde", "American Made" and "Saw". Leatherface (2017) Review OK, so this is the second one and another one from another famous franchise. But, also, useless and pointless. Yeah, I appreciate the fact that they wanted to give me a origin story of this legendary character but make it a bit entertaining and logical. It has the feeling of a "TCM" movie and it has the violence and bloodshed in style of those movies but it has no substance whatsoever. It's poorly edited, with a lazy script that does nothing to help the movie, characters that you don't feel anything for and a premise that lacks any sense of logic. Amityville: The Awakening (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today, besides two movie reviews I also going to post the Best and Worst of October. I know that October 31st had passed but the Halloween feeling is still in the air so, this weekend, I planned to see three horror movies that came out this year. The first one is this, another movie about another family that moves into this legendary haunted house. What I can tell you about this movie is that it is terrible. Nothing original, relies heavily on cheap jump scares, it is full of cliches making the movie very predictable which, in turn, kills all the suspense and tension that this type of horror movie should have. Like I said, nothing original, the plot is the usual one, with nothing or anything different to offer. Performances are average at best plus the scare factor is, virtually, missing. Thor: Ragnarok (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! First of all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! And, because is the spooky celebration, I have a special review for you of a very special movie. The third in the "Thor" franchise is, by far, my favorite. I enjoyed the shakespearean take that Brannagh applied for the first movie and the second was satisfying at best but this one is just a funny and colorful adventure from start to finish. It has that "Guardians of the Galaxy" feel and I can say that it is a mix between a space opera and a action comedy. The humor is great and the movie is filled with it but not to the point of exaggeration, like they did with "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2". The action is great, the special effects are amazing and the colors are staggering. Jigsaw (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today, we end our "Saw" reviews with this new entry in the franchise which, from my part, is the third best movie of the series, after "Saw" and "Saw VI". Let me set the records straight. This new entry is not going to win any new fans or followers but, for the old fans of the franchise, like me, it's exactly what we want from a movie like this. It's not separate from the other movies but you definitely feel that this is sort of a rebirth. There is no mention or any connection, however, with the last movie but maybe, if they make another one, they will addressed there. Although the plot, again, is confusing and convoluted, the performances are less than average and the script is a bit lazy, the violence and the very inventive traps and games are definitely going to make your night. Saw 3D/Saw 7 (2010) Review Well, opinions are divided with this one. Nope, most of them say that this is the worst of the franchise. Worst than even the third, the fourth and the fifth one. And I understand it. The plot is dumb and illogical and confusing, the performances are awful, the script is so lazy and so poorly written and the whole execution is a failure. Personally, I consider that, although the whole movie is dumb, the twist is the single thing in this movie that you can enjoy. It is stupid and confusing but you can still enjoy it. Overall, it's a dumb, confusing movie but you can have fun with it. The 3D is OK but it doesn't help a lot. 5.5/10 OK guys, those are the reviews for today. Next up is "Jigsaw" and "Thor: Ragnarok". Saw VI (2009) Review Well, with this one, things are looking a bit less grim. It is definitely a step in the right direction with the 6th movie. It has an interesting plot, not very original but interesting, some nice performances, it has a bit of an emotional state which is surprising, in a movie like this. The main game is compelling and smartly engineered, ending it with a very good and effective twist. Not the bullshit from the other two movies. Overall, it's a step up from the previous entries and one of my favorites in the franchise. 6/10

Saw V (2008) Review The fifth one is even worse than the previous one because the plot is even more confusing and convoluted than the other one, performances are even worse, the script is lazier, the editing is all over the place. The traps and torture devices are interesting and the violence is graphic but if these two things are the only interesting parts of your movie, then you have a problem. Not much to say about this movie other than you get everything and nothing, at the same time. Plus the twist at the end, is not even a twist. 4.5/10

Saw IV (2007) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today I am going to review the last 4 "Saw" movies before the new one came out. And I'm doing this because the job that I perform takes a bit of my spare time so that's why I'm doing 4 reviews in one morning. This 4th entry in the franchise offers nothing new in terms of story, characters, plot and anything else, really. We have, again, useless flashbacks that are telling you things you already know and have seen, the plot is a bit confusing because the game from the third movie is being played at the same time as the one in this movie. Luckily it is explained, in a way, at the end of the movie that consists in a twist which is not as good as the previous ones. The script is lazy, there are a couple of things that don't make sense, agent Strahm is a dick the whole movie, you cannot emphasize with any of the characters. Saw III (2006) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, this has to be my least favorite entry in this franchise because it does nothing new, it just repeats the same things, mainly, from the first movie, things we already know, it's longer than it should have been, overstuffed with pointless side plots, unnecessary flashbacks and scenes that, usually, could have been removed. The gore factor is raised in this one making even the most hard core "Saw" fan squeamish. The editing is bad, most of the twists, apart from the final one, which is awesome, are not surprising at all. It's a bit confusing, a bit illogical at times, performances are average at best but Tobin Bell, once again, steals the show. Saw II (2005) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, today we continue the "Saw" franchise with the second entry, which began the trend of all of the other movies, the trend that is known as torture porn. The psychological elements from the first movie are gone and replaced with gore and a cleverly twisted plot. If you liked the first movie you will definitely be satisfied with this one. It doesn't offer anything new and original but the switch of genres is very effective. It might be to gruesome for those who haven't seen the first one but for the others is going to be a treat. The final twist is not as good as the first one but was still surprising. You have some stereotypes here, the script isn't that great, the plot is mostly one note and the acting is average at best. The stand out is Tobin Bell, who is a fucking rock star in this role. Overall, not as good as the first one, it has almost the same flaws as the first one but the

Saw (2004) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Because the new "Jigsaw" movie is coming out soon I decided to re-watch the first seven movie starting with the one, that still remains, the best of the franchise. Why do I say that? Because this is more than a horror movie, it's more than your average gore fest, although it does have some gore that will definitely send a shiver down your spine in a good way. This one is more of a psychological thriller with horror elements. It is very tense, very suspenseful, the scene with Adam in his apartment is excellently crafted, very intense, particularly the ending of the movie, with a build up that works and a reveal that blew everyone away. That was a magnificent twist, a part that will become synonymous with the "Saw" franchise. Cary Elwes has some good acting parts but in some other parts, he kinda falls down in the over acting department. It's not a perfect movie because it does have

American Made (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today, it's another Tom Cruise but, this time, it's a good one from this year. It is based on a real life story and a real life character, Barry Seal. I enjoyed this movie because it feels like a documentary. Why I'm saying this? Because of the way it is filmed. Great camera direction, editing and filming. Tom Cruise gives off an amazing energy and it is nice to see him take on more serious roles. I think they took some liberties on how they told the story but I think they made the right choice here. The movie is funny, in some parts and serious in the rest. It has some good humor and enough excitement to keep you invested. It does have an uneven pace and that might sway you away from this one but I can assure you, it's a good movie. Atomic Blonde (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! If you believe it or not, I'm doing this from were I work because, these days, I don't have time to do it at home. So, what did I thought about this movie? Man, I can tell you one thing and that is that the action scenes in this movie are awesome. Very well shot, edited and assembled. Plus, the action scenes are one continuous shot, with the camera following every and each move so you cannot miss anything and understand the particular scene. Charlize Theron is so magnetic in this movie and McAvoy is unbelievably good, charming and funny. The director is David Leitch, the one who did the first "John Wick" movie so you can safely say that this one is the female version of that movie and character. Cult of Chucky (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, the 7th movie in the Chucky franchise, in my opinion, is the best. It surprised me in a big way and in the most good way possible. The cleverness of the plot is uncanny for these type of movies and that is why I was so pleasantly surprised by this movie. It's creepy, very strange, a bit confusing at the beginning but that is the beauty of this movie. It's very effective in it's creepiness and it stands out from the rest with ease. It is the best Chucky movie since the 4th one. Very intriguing, with an intelligent premise for the genre, a good cast and some nice twists and surprises. Plus, it's inventive in its kills so it's nice to see some new methods of killing in this franchise. Curse of Chucky (2013) Review OK, so with this one the franchise returns to its roots. It took out the humor and comedy and replaced it with the good old fashioned slasher movie. It is a good change? Or should I say, a good reverse change? Yes, I can say that it is. Despite the fact that I enjoyed the change of style with the "Bride....." and "Seed.....", mostly "Bride....", I appreciated that they went back to the slasher genre with a new paint job. The Chucky doll looks amazing and Brad Dourif is still awesome. And we have his daughter as the main hero of the movie. Despite the fact that this is the 6th movie of the franchise, it is surprisingly well made. The atmosphere is chilling, we have some good tension and suspense, the camera work and direction is good, the editing is well made. The script still sucks but it is an improvement, nonetheless. Seed of Chucky (2004) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, what can I say about this movie? It is still in the spirit of the franchise, it has some good parts, no pun intended, it is still funny and hilarious, the design of the dolls still looks good, it has like a Tim Burton feel to it, which is funny because some of the jokes in this movie are targeted towards Ed Wood, the worst director ever and, as we all know, there is a little movie made by Tim Burton that it is called "Ed Wood". The jokes might not have been good but the intention is applauded. Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly, here doing a double role, were still great and Billy Boyd, Pippin from "Lord of the Rings" was a good addition. Unfortunately, the script is still awful, most of the plot and story don't make sense. Bride of Chucky (1998) Review So, I believe that, because the third one sucked, they changed the recipe and we got an improvement, in my opinion. We got a horror comedy, very funny, well shot, well directed, with interesting characters and some good animatronics and special effects. The best thing about this movie is that it pokes fun at the horror genre and all it's tropes, ultimately poking fun at itself, which was awesome. Plus, the first scene of the movie, in which we see Jason's hockey mask, Michael Myers's mask, Freddy's claws and what I think was Leatherface's chainsaw was incredible. A bit confusing but when you will see how the rest of the movie continues, you will understand. Of course, it has it's negatives: they put more effort in the dolls then in the actors performances, the script doesn't help either and the humor is good, most of it but, because of that, you cannot take this movie seriously. Child's Play 3 (1991) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! We continue the reviews of the Chucky franchise with the third movie and also the worst of the series. Except for the doll design and special effects, which are a bit improved, everything else is garbage. The story sucks, the script is awful, the dialogue is even worse, the acting has nothing special about it and the whole premise of the movie is silly and stupid. I mean, even from the beginning, when Chucky is putting himself back together and then it was sent to Andy's military camp by who? The factory placed an order? Chucky placed the order, boxed itself and shipped itself out? I mean, it's all nonsensical. This one is not even scary or terrifying like the other two. The tension is gone, the suspense has disappeared and the whole movie became predictable and cliched. However, and I can't believe I'm saying this but, if you are a fan of Chucky, you can still get some fun out

Child's Play 2 (1990) Review So, the second movie, no argue about that, is not as good as the first one but, it does have some originality and quality left in it to entertain the fans and non fans, as well. Of course, the script is even worse than in the first one, having characters make so stupid and illogical decisions, acting wise was fairly OK, the direction was a bit choppy and not edited very well but you can still enjoy this entry in the franchise. Brad Dourif is still awesome and I enjoyed the fact that they made Chucky a real, flesh and blood, doll. Points for that. Not a big fan of the ending because it look similar, in a way, with the ending from "The Shinning" and even "The Terminator". Child's Play (1988) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Because the new Chucky movie, "Cult of Chucky" is available to see online I've decided to revisit and review the whole entire franchise, starting with the first one, of course. Well, this movie works as a slasher-comedy-horror-thriller, with enough suspense and tension to make it enjoyable. Although the script is awful, the situations are hilarious and silly, the material is flimsy and there are some similarities with "Friday the 13th" it still can offer some good old fashion horror entertainment. And you cannot not like Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky. He is, still, the perfect choice to voice that character. Plus the design of the doll is amazing, with excellent details. Being an 80's horror movie, the effects, not talking about the design of the doll, the special effects can lower the quality but, nonetheless, it is still a fun time. 6.2/10  

Death Note (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, to be honest, I don't know much about this property, other than the fact that it is based on a Japanese anime series, which I haven't seen yet so I don't know how to compare this movie with that. As a stand alone film, it's kinda of a disappointment to me because it starts off interesting, it has a compelling story but, unfortunately, it transforms into this generic vigilante piece that does not surprise me with anything. I can give credit to the director, it is shot very well and he has an eye for impressive visuals, plus we get a very talented cast with Willem Dafoe being the stand-out. Overall, if you are a fan of the "Death Note" anime, I suggest you stay away from this one because it will disappoint you and any other fan of the property. Blade Runner 2049 (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, today it's time for the long awaited sequel to the original "Blade Runner". What can I say about this movie is it stays true to the original, in terms of amazing visual effects, stunning cinematography, great performances and it deepened the thought provoking themes of the original. But it also can be categorized as a stunning cinematographic achievement on its own. Its tough to outmatch the original but Dennis Villeneuve almost did it. It has the almost exact slow pace but, I feel that, even the slower parts of the movie, are more engaging than in the first one. If you have seen the original, you can notice some little connections and similarities with the first movie, which I thought was a great homage to the original. The performances are awesome, Ryan Gosling is amazing and, in my opinion, perfect for the role. Harrison Ford is in the movie as much as I expected him to be,

Blade Runner (1982) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, because the new "Blade Runner" came out, I revisited the original one but not the Director's Cut or the Final Cut. Those are longer. I saw again the theatrical version and I can say that it is a visual masterpiece, with its thought provoking themes about the human condition and what it's like to be human. It's all about humanity and what makes us human. Some say this movie is a SF but it's not. It's more than that. You can say that it is a neo-noir thriller with SF elements and a SF background. It's mysterious, engaging, visually stunning with a mesmerizing soundtrack and some great performances from both Harrison Ford and Sean Young. Gerald's Game (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! On this "episode" I will review yet another Stephen King adaptation. "Gerald's Game" is a lesser known Stephen King book that does not deal with supernatural or monsters, although the movie does have some creepy and unsettling moments. What I can say is that I enjoyed this movie and, in my opinion, it deserves a spot on Stephen King best adaptation list. It does have some differences but Mike Flannagan, who also did "Oculus", "Hush" and "Ouija: Origin of Evil", knows how to craft a suspenseful and tense story. It has a slow pace, I admit and it could be, for some, a bit hard to endure but, if you are a Stephen King fan, you will appreciate the tense atmosphere that this director created. So, in our menu for today features another "great" horror movie from the director of "Annabelle" and, if you have read my review for that movie you will know that I don't like it and I didn't like this one either. It's like, this director has no clue on how to make a good and original horror movie. It's full of cliches, it's not scary not even in the slightest except for the cheap jump scares that don't make an impact whatsoever. Plus, it's predictable so you know what's going to happen next. Best and Worst of September Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor and on another BEST AND WORST OF THE MONTH. So, today we have the month of September, with some highs and also lows. So, before I give you my choice for best and worst, let's look at the honorable mentions from both categories. Flatliners (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, September was the month of remakes, with examples of how to do a proper remake and how not to do a remake. The first applies to the new "IT" movie and the latter applies to this one. What was the point of making this remake? It does not improve upon the original, it offers nothing new it terms of story so it's basically the same idea and concept, which I still find it great, the characters here are less likable then in the original, there is no sense of humanity to them plus they don't know jack shit about medicine, apart from Diego Luna's character. The horror elements are there but they come too late to make some sort of impact. But, nonetheless, they occasionally work. The performances of the actors are good, especially Ellen Page, Nina Dobrev and Diego Luna. Unfortunately, the script is not that good and the dialog ends up flatlined, pun intended. Flatliners (1990) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, because there is another "Flatliners" movie that came out and it's apparently a sequel to this one, which I haven't seen it until now, I thought I would do a review of it. It was directed by Joel Schumacher, before he ruined Batman and I can see similarities, in the visual department, with the two Batman movies that he directed. It's not a compliment, because the visual aesthetic and the cinematography is just awful. Full of pillars and statues, too many statues for my taste, bad lighting, on multiple occasions and the whole imagery is an example of how not to do it. The main idea of the movie, however, is amazing and thought provoking but the execution is not that amazing. Also, the script is mainly bad, a few things don't make sense and it borderlines between logical and illogical. Despicable Me 3 (2017) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, today I'm giving my thoughts about the third entry in the "Despicable Me" franchise. Well, what I can say about this one is that it's still entertaining, it's still has a colorful and incredible animation, it's still funny but unfortunately the humor is less present than in the first two movies. Voice acting wise is still great, Steve Carell, for the third time, is amazing, voicing two characters in this movie,  Gru and his brother and, theoretically is the same character but Carell manages to make them different. Trey Parker is voicing the villain, which, at times, falls into his "South Park" voice acting. Speaking of these characters, the conflict between Gru and Balthazar Bratt is moved backwards in order make the relationship between brothers the main focus, which I understand but I wanted to see more of the conflict. Despicable Me 2 (2013) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today, we are talking about the second entry in the "Despicable Me" franchise. Look, the first one was a nice and funny family-friendly animation that both adults and kids can enjoy. The second one is more of that but with less originality. The family-friendly feel is there, the laughs, which are a lot, are there, despite the same rude and juvenile humor that they use, the animation looks even better than the first one, with some amazing visuals and visual effects thrown in there. The voice performances are, once again, brilliant. Steve Carell proves a second time that he is the best choice to voice this character. Kristen Wiig is back, voicing a character that is more important to the story than in the first movie. Speaking of that, we have no character development for these new ones and no story development for their existence, which, in my case, is a minus in telling a linear story. A

Despicable Me (2010) Review Hello guys and welcome back to Movie Talks with Tudor! Today, I will review the first of the "Despicable..." movies and the one that introduced us to the minions. I enjoyed the hell out of this movie, even though it's the 5th or 6th time I've seen it. It gets more and more enjoyable each time you see it because it's that good. What Universal did with this is that, they borrowed elements from Pixar and a lot of stuff from the Looney Tunes era, with the zany comedy and the loony minions, if you will and turned into a family-friendly movie with a emotional and touching story. Basically, if you were a parent and you have kids this is the animation for you. It is perfect for kids to enjoy and for adults to appreciate the joy that a child can bring to you. Minions (2015) Review Hello guys and welcome back, once again, to Movie Talks with Tudor! So, like I said, I'm reviewing the "Despicable Me" franchise but I'm starting with the prequel of the series. Look, not all people enjoy the minions but I find them very funny. When I heard that they wanted to make an entire movie with them and telling the whole story of how they ended up with Gru, I was a bit unsure of this because they work very well as I side character in the "Despicable Me" movies. Just look what happened with "Penguins of Madagascar". Likable side characters but not as good as the main focus. That being said, this movie managed to make me like the minions a bit more. Not saying that the movie is very good but it looks nice, the animation is very sharp, the zany comedy of the minions and the situations and interactions they find themselves into plus their language make for a funny movie that both kids and adults will enjoy. However, t
